June is here and with it’s arrival we mark the end of all Skin Resurfacing Treatments. The reason for this is that exfoliating procedures increase sun sensitivity. As a result, recently exfoliated skin has to be kept out of the sun for at least 7 days after each session, otherwise damaging UVA and UVB rays may cause permanent scars and/or discolorations. Remember, to protect your skin and always wear high SPF lotions on treated areas.
